Kathy Sferra
Kathy Sferra is the Conservation Director for the Town of Stow. She has more than 35 years of experience in land use planning, land acquisition and land stewardship in Massachusetts, working at Mass Audubon, The Nature Conservancy, and Cape Cod Commission. Kathy is the co-author of the Massachusetts Conservation Restriction Stewardship Handbook. She has served on the board of the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions and has served for many years on municipal Conservation Commissions, Planning Boards, Open Space Committees and Community Preservation Committees. Kathy has a Masters of Regional Planning from UMass/Amherst and a BS in Environmental Education from Cornell University. She also has a strong interest in bringing her skills and training in coaching, facilitation, and leadership development to the conservation community. Kathy is also an accomplished photographer and has completed a half marathon in each of the 50 states.
