John Keeley

John Keeley has been the Conservation Administrator in Burlington since 2002. Previously he served as Assistant Director of Planning & Conservation/Conservation Agent in Wilmington from 1995-2002 and as the part-time Conservation Agent in Holbrook from 1994 to 1996. John has an A.B. in English from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He has been on the Board of Directors of MSMCP since about 1997 and served as the MSMCP representative to the committee that developed the riverfront area regulations. He is also a member of the Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists (AMWS) and is a former Board member of the Ipswich River Watershed Association, where is still a member and occasional volunteer. When not at work, John is usually birding somewhere in eastern Massachusetts.
