Regen Milani, President
Regen Milani is currently the Conservation Agent for the Town of Canton. Prior to entering municipal government in 2016, she worked for the New England Aquarium on protected area management managing a project to create one of the largest Marine Protected Areas on Earth, the Phoenix Islands Protected Area of Kiribati, an area equivalent in size to California. Regen has a B.S. in Environmental Management and a M.E.S.M in Conservation Biology from the University of Rhode Island, is a Qualified Compliance Inspector for Stormwater, and working towards her certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist. She serves on the Norfolk Conservation Commission, loves being a mom to two boys, everything and anything to do with the natural world, cultural diversity, and being active outdoors- hiking, biking, kayaking, birding, gardening, and recently started downhill skiing. She grew up in Massachusetts but has traveled around the world for work, school, and personal travel: from Malaysia to Ecuador, from Namibia to the Falkland Islands, to France, Nepal, Fiji and more. Regen joined the Board of MSMCP in 2022 because she finds the networking opportunities and talks put on by the organization to be invaluable. She wanted to play an active part in promoting best practices and enhancing and improving the efficacy of municipal conservation work statewide.
